Unable to perform Spindown Calibration in Zwift

1.78.0 is the game version now!?!

Yeah sorry, i have 1.78.0 right now

I’ve always had it that calibration in ZWIFT gave me a much better ride experience. Currently, when calibrating with the Wahoo app - which works without any problems - I quite often feel an unwanted load at 0 percent of elevation. It was always much better after calibration in ZWIFT. Unfortunately, now there is an error as soon as I stop pedaling after reaching speed goal. I also tested it on the same trainer of my neighbor. He also has a calibration error.

Thank you, Monika. I’ve shared this information with our engineering team so we can investigate it further.

I saw you most recently have been pairing your KICKR SNAP to Zwift via ANT+. Could you please confirm if you are able to complete a calibration when using Native Bluetooth and Bluetooth bridging over Zwift Companion?

Please excuse the delay in replying. Sure I’m going to check it today.

Hello everyone, I have the problem that after the new update 1.79.0 I can’t see a calibration tool. Although according to the description it should be displayed. I have the Tacx Flux 2 with apple TV and I phone with zwift companion. After I calibrated with the Garmin app, driving didn’t feel right. I can hardly follow Tayler at 1.1 w/kg and 25 km/h. I think the resistance is completely wrong. It’s barely noticeable

@AlanZHQ Today I tested calibration via ANT+ and it works! I noticed there was a small update in ZWIFT since I wrote the post. Has anything been fixed in this regard?

I’m also having this issue, restance isn’t working I have the kicker v4 or v5 connected via Ant+

I’m not sure the resistance is even there in my case. I have max strength on and I’m crushing up 8% grades in my 4th gear with 100 watts.

Granted my avatar is practically standing still but still.

Is the calibration wrench missing on the Pairing Screen when connected over ZC? Is it missing if you connect directly to the ATV without ZC?

Could you please confirm if you are able to complete a calibration when using Native Bluetooth and Bluetooth bridging over Zwift Companion?

Hi Alan, i have now tested and without the Companion App and directley Connect through the Apple TV the Calibration wrench is there. The function of calbration is given.

With the Companion App the wrench is missing.

Are you able to successfully complete a calibration when connecting directly through your AppleTV’s Bluetooth, and if so does resistance feel normal when you re-connect through ZC Bluetooth?

Yes, it works exactly as you wrote

Same issue on my kickr version 4

@Peter_Tanimgej @Morten_Siemoneit could you please share a screenshot of what your Pairing Screen looks like after you’ve paired your trainer as Power Source, Resistance, and Cadence?

This is the screen paired without Companion App.
If i’ve paired with the App the litle Wrench is missing

After the last update the ability to calibrate the simulator from Zwift is gone, this is very convenient, before everything worked correctly. In the similar myWh… app. the possibility of calibration is available and from the native myETraining app it is possible to calibrate the simulator, but it is very convenient when you could do it from Zwift.

Elite Direto XR-T (firmware 87)
Zwift 1.81.2 (138664)
Win 10 x64
BT 5.4

You should calibrate in Elite’s app

And (if necessary) update the firmware
