Problem with login to Zwift via German Telekom

And here we go again… 5pm and Zwift is not working… Might not be Zwifts Fault technically but do something about it

I’ve the same problems with Deutsche Telekom especially in the evening. Yesterday I opened a ticket at customer service and they told me that they’ll check it, but one day late I got no answers, yet. I heard via VPN it should work.

This is really annoying. I don’t really care the ISP. If Zwift offers an online tool for money, that I pay, Zwift has to ensure that users from Germany can connect with the largest german ISP. If it doesn’t work, Zwift has to contact Telekom and solve the problem! Netflix or whatever is working as well. My 50MBit Internet connection works fine. You cannot even reach the Zwift forum via Telekom…have to use my Vodafone cell. Damn it.

Here also Telekom customer from Germany , paying for Zwift .
Everything else works , so internet is there .
But Zwift does not start up , not even on my mobile phone .
So i missed my FrodissimoFriay today !!!

Same here with a Telekom landline.

Same here the last two days, also Telekom.

Please FIX THIS, we are paying for ZWIFT and I have to use Rouvy!

Same here.

Zwift doesn’t feel responsible. Their reply on my support request:
I am sorry that you feel we are not addressing your issue. There is nothing we can do to escalate it since the issue is NOT with us, but with the internet service in your country.

That attitude :frowning:

Maybe Zwift can not do anything short term, but they could at least acknowledge a problem in (what I believe is) a big market and try to mitigate the problem by offering VPN or local servers or something. Can’t believe they’re just leaving their German customers alone like this.

Was stimmt hier nicht?

@shooj pls merge this thread to the “Problems with german telekom” thread

The answer “we can do nothing” is absolutely the worst and a massive disapp. Leaving the problem to us, the customers.

As it seems the problem has something to do with the RH SSO servers, how about thinking to either make the authentication procedures more robust and second moving the RH SSO to an additional location in AWS? And third: escalating the problem with AWS and/or German Telekom?

since we all (german taxpayers) paid for the landlines, we are (or should be)
Capitalism is where Telekom uses these paid lines to make a sh… ton of money.

Jawoll, Kamerad :kissing_heart:

Anyhow, I’m a heavy internet user and my only ISP option here is Deutsche Telekom.
That’s why I have a good VPN Provider for years

We don’t want to talk about VPN Servers or anything like that. The paid Zwift-service is the problem. Mr. Ben Ficker start your own VPN advertisment thread and call it “How lucky I am”.

@Norbert_Baumstark I absolutely agree with you. This problem persists, but we did not get any helpful information from Zwift yet, that’s not what I call a good customer service. It’s not a good style to play dead man and wait for the other to solve the problem

Zwift did not even care, when I said I’ll cancel my membership.

It’s not.

Go to Mercedes or VW and complain about too many potholes on the Autobahn and tell them it’s their fault.

I don’t advertise “my” VPN, I just wanted to give you a workaround.
