This has happened to me 2 races in a row, but never prior (riding since 2018). In Tuesday’s race, I could see everyone, but they couldn’t see me. It was showing in the results as 68/68 even though I was in first. Happened again in today’s TTT, though folks were able to see me for the 1st 1/3 of the race, but not thereafter. I don’t ride the Wattbike or KICKR, or use anything related to steering. I do use an Apple 4K TV which seems to be a common theme on this thread.

This has been a issue for me once I connected the Sterzo. The ghost issues happen when you disable the steering. You should enable the steering even if you know steering is not allowed in a particular race or rude. Let the system deactivate the steering.

Same thing happened today for me. Was invisible to my teammates but felt their draft and I believe they could feel mine by the way avatars were moving on screen. Apple Tv and Neo 2T.

I was invisible to my teammates today in the WTRL TTT; the Premier League. I was using Apple TV today and Neo2T. I stayed with them until the end of the event and I do show in the results as I was unsure of what the correct process was for this.
This has hit our team a few times on WTRL TTT - Apple TV, Atom and Wahoo bike have all been hit. Look up topic invisible-wattbikers/534374/15
Would be nice if zwift even acknowledged there is an issue because this has all happened since Jan software release.

Hi this happened to me for the first time last night. New kickr direct drive trainer running zwift on an iPad. Been racing the ttt since august. Used the kickr last week was fine. This week not.
Yeah yeah, happend to me to on wednesday. Came 9th, and showed 101/102 in the race (NCF Vintercup 2021).
I restarted my wifi-router, and had no issues during yesterdays TTT.
Probably not the solution to this problem, but didnt make anything worse

Wahoo Kickr V5/Apple TV 4K
Hi- same issue using Kickr and iPad. Disconnected the Sterzo whilst in the pen waiting for the WTRL TTT. After the start I could see most of the others, but they couldn’t see me. They then all disappeared completely about 1/3rd of the way through and even where I could see other teams on the course, I couldn’t see my own team on the leader board. Please fix!
Same last night again for me, 2nd time in 3 weeks, I’m invisible to my whole team but I continue to ride, I must be getting a draft as ave w/kg lower than theirs and I can’t see they are getting a draft off me. My race result has stood though in the ttt as I continued to ride.
Apple TV and Tacx Neo 2T, I do have a sterza but it’s not connected although I can see the BT connection trying, have removed it now and removed batteries before next weeks to see if it makes a difference

Hi - yes - this week in both ZRL Women’s C category/Div 2, I was in front pack for approx 1st 6kms but placing 95th out of 96th on race screen. Finished up 45th in the end. Last night in WTRL Platinum League TTT, I was in my team, but no-one could see me. Tried to do the rotations, but don’t think they were getting the draft effect of my pulls. I appeared on the results board, but feel my team may have suffered as a result of not being able to see me! Was on a Kickr Elite & Apple TV connected. Regards,

Team Time Trial race last evening - I was an invisible ghost for the whole ride!! So annoying and also had trouble taking pictures - Lost a bunch of pictures taken during the WTRL event.
I run Tacx Neo 2 + Apple TV, my last 3 meet-ups my avatar has been invisible to all others, but I can see all of them. 2 meet-ups were mine, the other was by a friend. They don’t see me in the right hand list of riders/watts etc either but my times do appear in the KOM and sprints list on the left hand side. Could be unconnected, but in the last 2 rides I was dropped at the start gate of an event facing the wrong direction and had kit changed to standard orange. What to do?
Thanks for all the reports everyone. Reading through this thread, there’s a variety of symptoms being reported, and each of those can raise different suspect root causes.
For Apple TV users: would you go to the App Store, locate the Zwift app, and see if the Update button is available? If it is - please update to the latest game version. Your App Store preferences may be set so that it is not auto-updating Zwift or other applications.
The log files on your computer can also reveal hints on what’s happening. Here’s where to locate your logs, and an email where you can send them to Zwift Support for help with your situation specifically.
You can also upload that log.txt file to zwiftalizer.com. This is a third party site that can parse what’s happening with Bluetooth, ANT+ and network issues. For some players - that can reveal local issues, and for others, it will confirm that there are other problems at play.
This is the “separate identical races issue”. Goes back to last summer, coinciding with the France release. You have many very advanced zwifters replying here, so assume versioning and zwiftalizer solutions will not fix. I guess what we are looking for is an acknowledgment the issue is being worked on by zwift vs an attempt to obfuscate or shift blame back to setup or network. This issue ruins racing for the invisible racer and all in the group. Given the stated desire to become a legit esports juggernaut, it would be nice to see Zwift publicly acknowledge the issue, reiterate its commitment to a stable race platform, and ideally zwift would share a timeline for resolution. Is there a way to send logs from Apple TV?
Apple locks down the file system on Apple TV, so there isn’t a way for you to pull the logs. Our Support Team can look at partial logs from this end, however, if you contact us through support.zwift.com.
I have checked my Apple TV version and it is current. This invisibility issue has only affected me in the last week and on all 3 group rides I have been on (not all arranged by me)
