Since a couple of days, ERG mode has stopped working. When doing workouts, the power no longer stays at the suggested power and I need to manually try and hold the power required.
ERG mode is shown as “on” on both Zwift and ZC.
I run Zwift on an IPad and ZC on android. I use a smart trainer (Magene Gravat) and a Polar HRM.
The only thing that has changed in the 2 years I have been using Zwift is that I recently purchased the Polar HRM. I first thought this might be the culprit but even when I do not pair the HRM, ERG does not work.
Things I have done so far:
Restart Zwift and ZC.
Update the trainer.
Do a spin-down calibration.
Completely turn off trainer and turn again.
Restart IPad and phone.
I could really use some help as I want to finish the ZWIFT Academy
Same problem. Magene gravat 2 / ipad / Iphone / win10
Power control works fine om Magene utility app, aswell as from Garmin 1030.
Yeeeeesssss, power control is BT connected, and yes, trainer difficilty os set to max.
It seems like Zwift does not communicate power setting correctly to my Magene (which is on newest firmware and spin down calibrated).
Same here. Gravat2/ipad. Seems to have “some” resistance but not changing the resistance either for ERG mode or SIM mode.
As with others in the thread have got latest firmware etc. and trainer recalibrated in attempt to make it work. The trainer seems to operate correctly with the Magene Utility App.
Update - decided to try out a couple of other apps to see if they work correctly. Zwift is still not performing ERG properly but Wahoo RGT seems to work fine and controls the trainer resistance as expected.
