Zwift Ride Smart Frame NOISE

Zwift Ride Noise Issue - Misaligned Chain and Noisy Bottom Bracket
Zwift Ride Smart Frame + Wahoo KICKR CORE for Zwift Ride

Hi everyone,
I recently purchased the Zwift Ride, and while the assembly process was smooth, I’ve encountered a couple of issues that are quite concerning:

Excessive noise coming from the bottom bracket: Despite the product being advertised as quiet, the noise is quite loud, especially when pedaling, which is not what I expected from this model.

Misaligned chain: It seems like the chain is not aligned correctly, which might be contributing to the noise issue and could potentially cause further mechanical problems.

I’ve already contacted Zwift support via email and provided videos demonstrating the issues. Has anyone else gone through this? Do I have hope of receiving a quick response? I’m trying to figure out if this is a common defect or something specific to my unit. I followed the assembly instructions carefully, and it’s frustrating to encounter these problems on a product that’s supposed to be one of the best in the market.

Any advice or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks in advance!

I recently purchased the Zwift ride frame zero problems with mine thankfully
seems to be more and more customers with the issues you describe or similar
doesn’t seem good enough to me
hope you get it sorted ASAP.

Hi Again!

I recently purchased the Zwift Ride and despite following the assembly instructions carefully, I’ve encountered some significant issues:

  1. Loud noise coming from the bottom bracket, which makes the bike far noisier than expected. It’s supposed to be quiet, but it clearly isn’t.
  2. Misaligned chain, which looks crooked and may be causing or contributing to the noise issue.

I’ve already contacted Zwift support via email, but I haven’t received a response yet. I’m attaching photos and videos to provide clear evidence of the problem.

Has anyone else experienced similar issues?

Hi, I had the same problem with noise so I thought I would lube the chain. whilst doing this I noticed the chain was not in a straight line, orange chain tensioner bent. Tensioner bracket is only mild steel so I bent it back in line with my hands. Problem solved. Hope this helps.
