After assembling the Zwift ride to the kickr core, everything connected and updated when i attempt to begin a workout the chainring simply wont move.
Multiple attempts and adjustments sadly with no progress.
I’ve referenced instructions and Zwift videos but cannot spot anything to resolve this issue.
Any help would be much appreciated
Thanks.
Can you attach some photos of the set up, and provide some additional details? It seems odd that that the chain, or cranks, or whatever, won’t move, so some more information would be helpful.
There have been some reports of people assembling it in a way that results in the cog binding on the right dropout, which could cause that type of symptom

HI Fernanda, i found the solution to the chainring issue mysel with no help whatsoever from the Zwift customer support service, or lack of support as i got none.
Once i got the Zwift ride assembled and tried to complete a workout new issues presented themselves.
There is a constant chain rubbing noise as i pedal, almost like the sound of a regular bike cross chaining when the derauliers are misaligned. Is there anywhere i can find a solution to this.
Also despite the handlebars being paired with my Samsung tablet the gears wont change during a workout and there is no indication on screen of exactly what virtual gear you are actually using.
I’ve paired the handlebars several times, in fact each time i use the Zwift bike i have to pair the handlebars again.
Again i would appreciate a speedy solution to these issues.
Regards
Aidan Murphy
I don´t see the thru axle adapters (142mm, on both sides, #4 and #7) for the KICKR Core in your pictures.
Hi Jurgen,
It turns out the problem was the thru axel itself and the incorrect lenght axel.
The pics i posted were just part of the elimination process i was trying to solve the problem.
The correct axel arrived today and the trainer is now correctly assembled and working well. Thanks for your reply.
Regards.
