Zwift Ride: Hub Menu always popping up

Hi,

Before describing the issue I gotta admit I am really fuming right now. In addition to the issues with the Bluetooth connectivity bridge via Companion app, today, within a 1:30h ride, I had to stop twice due to issues with the Zwift Ride:

First, the left crank arm of my Zwift Ride got lose which is oddly enough. Thanks to GP Lama I was able to figure out how to tighten it up again.

Second, and this is a real issue, in the middle of the ride, after accidentally pushing the Z button of the left controller, the hub menu (the one for camera angle, turn around, coffee brake etc.) started popping up all the time. I disconnected the controllers, put them on the charger, started the Apple TV new, re-connected them to my mobile etc. - nothing did help. Whenever I start a ride now, the menu is popping up.

I am deeply dissatisfied and disappointed with the quality of your product. I hope there is a fix for this, otherwise Zwift Ride goes back against re-fund and I will cancel my subscription. So little time to ride and so many interruptions due to your product - just inacceptable.

Best,
C

Sounds like the controls are faulty. Often people reporting that issue end up having the handlebars replaced, or returning it. You can also try a controller reset. Example:

Thanks, would one need to push and hold the Z for 30sec on one or both sides? Did it on the left side, but this did bot solve the problem.

Seriously, who designs such a sh….? Obviously, controllers need to be able to tolerate sweat…

I’m also having this issue with the menu constantly popping on and off. Also inside menues it is very difficult to navigate since it feels like one of the right controller buttons is constantly getting an input. Very frustrating!!!
