Disable it for now and try opening Zwift.
Done, but I’m still getting the same result
Ok, with Symantec off try and uninstall and reinstall Zwift.
Still no luck.
Is it creating the files/folders in \documents\zwift?
Nope, I still don’t have a zwift folder in my documents folder at all.
Thank you for spending so much time on this, btw.
Still could be a Symantec issue, any chance you could uninstall it?
I’ll give it a shot
OK, so I uninstalled symantec, uninstalled zwift, deleted the setup file, restarted, re-downloaded zwift and reinstalled. But I still don’t have the /documents/zwift folder, and it still doesn’t run.
If you search your HD do you find a Zwift folder anywhere?
Nope- can’t find any folder named zwift
Sorry, that was a lie-- I’ve got the one in Program Files (x86) that the app installed in, but no documents/zwift folder anywhere that I can find
No, I’m not
Is this a work computer?
Nope, it’s my personal desktop
Nope, it’s on my SSD
Not that I can find. There are a few folders and logs under there, but nothing related to Zwift.
Thanks. I have a support request in but I think things are pretty swamped right now. Hope I can get this working.
Oh OK! I think I found an example of the error using those steps- here’s what it looks like:

That make any sense to anyone? I’m out of my depth
Open cmd or Powershell as admin.
type
dism /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth
after that, type
sfc /scannow
restart PC
