Zwift Click not connecting

Hello all, now that Zwift version 1.50.0 is 100% rolled out to all platforms, you should be able to run the latest version when attempting to pair your Zwift Click over native bluetooth or Zwift Companion bridge.

Hello @Florian_Muller3 , welcome to the Forums! The Community Support team and myself will be glad to help out if youā€™re having issue pairing the Click (or other devices) on the latest version. It does look like your click paired over the ZC bridge earlier today. Are you having trouble getting paired over native bluetooth?

Anyone losing zwift click after 1 minute even in game?

not even a minuteā€¦ after a few shifts its restarting. Not sure whatā€™s the problem?
Without a stable click you canā€™t really drive in game.
Mine is reproducible - every time shifting up, restartā€¦ if you are fast enough 1 or 2 gears is possible, then it restarts.

You are very disadvantaged if your Zwift click wonā€™t work on the new hub one as sadly you are stuck in one gear

Did you denergized the click? Remove the battery and click a button. Wait a minute and put the battery back. May be you can change the battery.
Then restart the connecting process.
Also try to Update the bluetooth driver on your Windows/Mac PC.
After that restart the PC and start the the zwift app.

I think its to do with the firmware. They sent me another one and it worked fine straight out box, managed a 40 minute workout. I then updated the firmware and it started dropping out again. This is annoying.

Yes did all that, then eventually tried my iPad instead of my windows laptop it worked, I tried again with my laptop again and nothing, so assuming it is a windowā€™s compatibility issue, it only went wrong following the latest firmware updates

I think i figured out the process to get it to connect. Iā€™m running Windows.

  1. unpair the click from all devices
  2. pair with phone and open companion app
  3. ensure your firmware is up-to-date
  4. disconnect the click from your phone via bluetooth. (either turn off bluetooth or unpair)
  5. Open zwift app
  6. Open the controls section
  7. Open your bluetooth setting on your PC
  8. Pair the click
  9. once paired, it should show up in the List of Controls in the Paired Devices.

Note. The hub must be connected via BlueTooth also. I tried switching my hub to ANT+ and the Click went away. Once I switched it back to BlueTooth, it worked.

I was having issues with the Bridge Mode with the companion app. Once i was able to get it connected this way, then bridge mode too was working. I think, when it fails to show up in the list on Zwift, one of the BT devices is holding a connection to it so the app cannot find it.

IF THE CLICK IS CONNECTED, THEN YOU WILL HAVE THE OPTION in SETTINGS under PREFERENCES FOR Virtual Shifting. Otherwise, it wonā€™t show. If this is connected and set, you can use your play controllers for shifting. However, if the click isnā€™t paired, the Virtual Shifting WILL NOT work as of this writing.

as mentioned, I can reproduce - but I need to be a bit more precise.
Shifting down works and BT stays connected. As soon as Iā€™m pressing up, not even reaching the ā€˜clickā€™ it immediately restarts (blue-green-red). This also happens without a BT connection (blue flashing)ā€¦ down no issues, up restart

Zwift Click is still not pairing with Apple TV Firmware 1.50.2 @shooj

How can we fix this?

I had the same issue; to solve It:

  • List item

disable Bluetooth on the iPhone,
open the Zwift app on Apple TV and you will see that in the controls menu you will see the Zwift click.

I am having the exact same problem as you Jan. Incredibly frustrating.

Try pairing the the Zwift Hub as the ā€œResistanceā€ device.
Thank you!

Hi

I am having issues to connect the Swift Click with the tablet. It is a Galaxy S6
I have checked that the firmware and game versions are the latests in all devices.
I can pair de Zwift Click but the gears do not appear on the game screen. Any idea how to fix this?

Thank you

Received my Zwift Cog and Click upgrade today; spent three fruitless hours trying to get the Click to pair. Running Zwift on a Windows 10 PC with the Companion app. Firmware on the Zwift Hub updated and running Zwift 1.50.2 on the PC. Any suggestions, please?

Tried pairing both directly and via the Companion app?

Yes. Tried directly through the PC app and via Bluetooth using the Companion. The Click pulses blue and the app says Searchingā€¦

Okay, so managed to get the Companion app to see it and firmware was updated. But still will not pair when I try to run the PC app, consequently itā€™s useless.

Hi @Geoffrey_Easton , is your Zwift Hub on the latest firmware (5.2.2) and paired to Power and Resistance over bluetooth?
