Zwift Click with disconnection

Dear all,

I am currently facing problems with my zwift click. Initially it takes time until click is shown as connected on the mainpage (if it connects at least). By starting a ride the Click is already disconnected again and randomly connects again. Mostly, in case of being connected, the click is mostly only possible to shift to easier gears while shifting up is almost impossible. Most of the time the click is disconnected, only seconds connected. I already changed the battery, but the problems remained the same. Firmware was checked as being the latest version.

The issue a happening on apple Ios, iPad Os or an my Windows Pc. In my eyes it is a click Problem in general and not a simple disconnect from a device.

Is there any possibility for a replacement? Bought it in November 2023.

Thanks.

Hello @66David66 welcome to Zwift forums and Zwift more generally
Shuji at Zwift HQ here.

I looked at your server logs and noticed that the Click is still on firmware version 1.0.0. The latest version is v 1.1.0. A helpful instructional video on how to do that using the Zwift Companion app is here.

Please give that a try before contacting Support for a replacement, as it’s possible the replacement will also have the v1.0.0 firmware that was loaded at the factory.

Dear Shuji,

Following the companion Ios app the click wheel is on the latest firmware 1.1.0.

Below a screenshot from my desktop pc. While click is connected in bluetooth, zwift is not able to connect. Via Ios app, click was fast connected, but randomly looses connection.

The click shouldn’t be connected in the Windows Bluetooth settings. Also because you have an ANT+ dongle installed, you have to make sure that it is never used to pair the trainer because virtual shifting only works when the trainer is paired via Bluetooth. Whenever you’re having virtual shifting problems, remove the ANT+ dongle to ensure it is not used.
