Zwift Click connection issues with Van Rysel D100

According to the Zwift Ready Compatibility page, the D100 does not transmit cadence information

All trainers should be calibrated in the manufacturer’s app, not Zwift

The main problem is that since I updated the erg off mode it doesn’t work anymore, increasing and decreasing the resistance has no effect on the trainer

Hey do you have any further information about the update. Did you had any possibility to pair the coq otherwise

Thx Moritz

Hello,
The firmware has since been updated and everything works for me.

Process (thx Thomas) :
Download OneLap Application
Go to Me
My other device > Smart trainer
Add the D100

For me the ERG mode is still working well so I haven’t more informations on that one.

I just bought the D100 and tried to update it to the newest Firmware but in the OnelapFit App I could not press the button for the update - maybe because they reverted it? Does someone else have trouble updating?

Same here, it wont let me press update. Not happy at all about this whole situation and how its being handled by Van Rysel. They dont even reply to my emails.

I have the same issue. Waiting for an answer from Decathlon/ van Rysel about the firmware update, since its grayed out in the app.
Can anybody explain how you received the update? Or was it just available via the app?
Thank you!

Decathlon contacted me today. Apparently its a bug and they try to fix it. So in a few days it should be possible to update the trainer…

Hello;

I bought a D100 for christmas.

I noticed the same issue as you, What ever the setting of manuel resistance or erg mode, there is no resistance applied on the trainer. Even if I am on a positive climb, it is like if I ride on a flat road. Yet the climd is correctly managed with OneLapFit.

I updated the last firmware (with OneLapFit), but no effect on ZWIFT.

Could you say me if you success to fix your issues and how.

Thank you very much.

Merry Christmas,
have you found out anything about this topic yet? Is it working for you now after a few days? My D100 is in Germany? Is that the reason or is it a general Decathlon problem? My update button is still greyed out. I can’t update the trainer!

I found several discussion thread on this topic. It seems that it is a specific issue on D100, may be since the last firmware update. I cannot confirm because I had not tested it with the previous firmware.

But, I made a test with OneLap, (not OneLapFit), which is similar to ZWIFT (but less good). The resistance is correctly managed by this application. So, the issue is really specific to the use of D100 with ZWIFT.

Who can update their van Rysel d100 to the latest version? It’s not possible for me. My version is still 0.100. The OnelapFit app won’t let me use it!

I found the application OneLap Utility in the app store, I will try to update the firmware this afternoon ande let you know here on the forum!

I also have this issue after the Update :frowning: Is there already a solution found?

I finally have the update now (Austria)!
Everything seems to be working fine, I can finally use my Zwift Cog and Click

Have you update the onelap app??

I have a unit I picked up today. Firmware 0.106. Works fine for ERG mode as an FTP test. Otherwise it’s not talking to Zwift to manage resistance. I can spin up to only about 120 watts and 95 RPM and no change in resistance on free rides even on the hill only routes. Set resistance in Zwift to max and there was no change. Changed the settings in OneLapFit and it controls resistance just fine. You can change slope and feel the changes. I’ll try the OneLap software tomorrow but I’m guessing the trainer is not setting resistance in Zwift.

To have the resistance in Zwift :

  • launch Zwift and connect your D100, then launch a run
  • don’t close zwift application, go to the Bluetooth setting menu of your phone, then shutdown the bluetooth.
  • Wait few secondes, then restart bluetooth
  • go back to Zwift application, reconnect D100, then go back to your run

No luck. I tried turning off all Bluetooth devices that may be interfering.
Tried Zwift from my iPhone - no resistance but power, speed, cadence all work.
Tried the OneLapFit app - records data for speed, cadence, and can control resistance level but slope adjustment does nothing
Rode a Zwift workout in ERG mode and it worked just fine (power, cadence, speed, heart rate monitor - all work).
I’ve sent in a ticket with Van Rysel/Decathlon to see if there is a software issue/update or remedy. Trainer seems to be working fine - not communicating properly with Zwift on computer, Apple TV, or iPhone.

Hi, I have the same setup as you, it works fine for me.
Of course I updated the software to 1.0.6, set the power source to van rysel, and upgraded the software on the click button.

If it doesn’t work for you, try recalibrating, unplugging everything, and then starting over again.
