D500 van rysel - Zwift cog and click upgrade

Hi All,

Last Friday I ordered myself the D100 at Decathlon and the ‘Zwift Cog and Click upgrade’ on Zwift shop. (because the bundle D100 and Zwift wouldn’t restock)

Surprisingly Decathlon gave me the D500 model, wouldn’t complain about that tho

After fitting the Cog and my bike, I installed zwift on my Ipad.
Connected to the D500 without an issue, but the Zwift Click couldn’t be found.

In Zwift companion the Click is showing up and connecting, also updated the software of the click. Still no result of connecting the Zwift click in the Zwift app = No virtual shifting.

After a brief test ride in Zwift, I noticed the Resistance is automatically adapted.
That’s OK, but shouldn’t I be able to use the Zwift Click? TO virtually shift Gears?

Does anyone have some tips or Clarification?

Kind regards,

I don’t see the D500 on the list of trainers that Zwift supports with virtual shifting…

Ask Van Rysel / Decathlon if they plan to offer a firmware update to the D500 as they have for the D100. In the mean time, put a cassette on the trainer and go for a ride.

I also saw that the D500 isn’t mentioned in the list.

That’s the reason why i ordered the D100, to start with indoor cycling and to be compatible with zwift cog and click.

Maybe it’s just a connection fault or something?

Anyway the resistance is adapting through out the map in zwift, so i’m glad that works.

no, it would be Van Rysel needing to put out a firmware update for the D500 to work with Zwifts virtual shifting, nothing you can do about it.

So the reason might be, that the click can not be found, is due to the firmware of the D500.

Will try to contact them!!

do you have an answer ??
