What’s annoying is that there has been no communication since after the day of the issues.
They indicate the emails will be delayed by " one business day" , but even then, no email or any further communication.
If they know the problem, why not communicate about it ?
Totally agree! I did the ride after they fixed the banding issues. I rode the whole course (in fact continued for a while after to spin down).
It’s been 24+ hours and I have no emails from Zwift, Companion app is blank for the baseline results (shows 13% complete). Super frustrating to not get any updates from Zwift at all. At least say something and give an ETA for resolution.
I completed my ride at 4pm MST yesterday and as 5:30PM today, I have not received the baseline data email.
We made the decision to pause the baseline data emails while we investigate reported issues.
As this issues are resolved, we will be updating the Zwift Academy Known Issues article.
Kinda circular, isn’t it? The article concludes by saying to check back with this thread for the latest updates.
It would be nice to send email updates to all the participants who have been patiently waiting for the email results. I checked my email several times today, unaware that they had been paused.
Yeah, that would work well, if they could do that. Just a “Hey, congrats for completing the baseline ride! We are having issues with the baseline analysis email, but don’t worry, your stats are in, and that email will come when those issues are resolved.”
Did the baseline ride at 7p US CT 9/13. Seemed to function properly but at almost 11p US CT 9/14 still no email with results.
Just got the email for my baseline ride on Tuesday. Numbers are blank though.
Looks like the blank data/phenotype issue persists. Email received at ~ 8:30 pm PDT on 9/14. Participated in the 6:00 pm PDT baseline ride on 9/13.
Just received my email. It’s blank also. Ride started 6am AWST 14 Sep.
Really hoping I don’t need to do the ride again.

Well that is disappointing to say the least. Waited 2 days to get a blank email, just like everyone else
54+ hours after my baseline ride I still haven’t received an email. Data has populated in my Companion App under the Zwift Academy section. The event was as I expected and what I assume was intended with no banding, messaging on screen - although there was some issues with messaging in the Companion App with multiple messages spamming onto the screen and obviously from later portions of the ride - and all segment and finish line banners where they needed to be. Wondering when my email will come through…have raised a ticket as well…
36h later my email arrived with result Sprinter! And the numbers wkg and percentile for the 3 segments too.
Finally received my email after completing the ride on the 13th at 06:00 PDT. Data available on companion app and was not banded on ride. So, despite the emails being withheld for over 24 hours, there was no meaningful data within. All the templated values were blank, just like the others posted here. Email communication really is not rocket science.
Same as above email was blank. 1800MST 9/13. My concern is when uploaded to TrainingPeaks the ride included being in the PEN (first time ever), and then also was didn’t exactly record the volcano climb values are blank ish. Strava time was also off from the event, significantly off. TP jumped my ftp from 299 to 341 based off that fit file.
Did something happen to this file and that’s why these baseline rides are messed up?
I also completed baseline ~36 hours ago. I can see segment times in companion and defo went long enough - but email only just arrived and my phenotype is blank.
Be good to get an update from Zwift on this - I only see an update on the banding issue. Loads of us still getting blank emails.
So after 36hrs i get the email and everything is blank…
What an absolute mess
I did my baseline ride on 13.9@16:00UTC without any problem. My times were correctly reported (medium: 2’17’‘(310W) , short: 28’’ (500W), long: 10’16’’ (230W)) but the email I received had totally wrong calculations. My weight is 77kg so the W/kg should be 4w/kg, 6,5 w/kg and 3w/kg for medium, short and long efforts while the email was showing 1,3w/kg, 2,3w/kg and 2,4w/kg respectively. So, something is really wrong with the baseline calculations. I would raise a ticket and see how it goes.
