What are the 10 Changes you would like to see in Zwift?

100% :ride_on:

(Although I also think you missed the point - and I did suggest rewarding time/effort as a way of raising other people. Distance XP is distance XP, that’s fine but does favour certain types of rider.)

Totally agree, I’m in the low 30’s level wise, and not really worried, in fact I looked at the level 30 kit when I got it and thought I wont bother with that

In no particular order:

1 - For races, show group sizes like Sauce, time gaps between them, and power/wkg output for each to help determine effort needed to catch/stay away.

2 - Regress pack dynamics closer to the previous iteration to give racing breakaways a slightly better chance and make racing more interesting again.

3 - Improve gradient graph to appear like the climb portal.

4 - Ability to customize and share created routes.

5 - Ability to organize garage and create preferred setups. Like just about everyone else has mentioned.

6 - When browsing events in game or on the website, tell us the damned route and distance!

7 - Improved color slider for frames, including red and grayscale. How cool would a black or white Tron bike look?

8 - Color slider for some helmets.

9 - Continue to build more roads and expansions.

10 - Create more challenges, and make the rewards for achieving them useful.

Ooh, I like that idea.

XP at 2/100m.

That way when my PC crashes at 10.9km on the clock, I don’t miss out on the XP.

In the past few days I’ve lost at least 120XP this way! :sob:

I had suggested previously give more XP to people riding uphill or on the big climbs and doing so without the use of workout modes to render the actual gradients irrelevant.

Unfortunately there was an outrage over the idea.

I’d definitely like that change.

Could remain formulaic. Eg. for conversation.
Performance based:
4(w/kg per minute) = XP per minute

Effort based
10 x %MaxHR = XP per minute

Drops increase quicker as you are going uphill.

Supposedly, that was the “reward” for climbing.
And there’s a bonus drops added if you get a Ride On while going uphill also.

Riding with a Pace Partner gives up to a 2.5x multiplier though (according to the article, the climbing increase was about a 1.6x multiplier), so while there’s still an incentive it’s not what it once was.

Ride with the pace partner on a hilly route.

Back to the topic?

No special order

  1. Rowing

  2. more running content

  3. jersey hunting which i do not own

  4. world modding system, community driven

  5. better/adaptive graphics to get most of systems

  6. complete grand tour stages, tdf, giro, vuelta

  7. velodrome with their specific olympic disciplines

  8. support for video head sets

  9. include sightseeing routes

  10. do gamification right, implement story mode like grand tour bike career or grand theft bike

I remember seeing/reading somewhere that the weird thing in the middle of the volcano was originally put there to be used as some kind of gamification idea. Something like if the people in and around the volcano hit a certain level of total watts then it would shoot a beam into the sky.

I’d like more of this type of thing - maybe a combined group version of the fire socks - if you collectively total X,000 watts or have an average of over a certain number then the group/robopacer group could shoot a large fireball out the back.

I say this as someone who doesn’t ever use the fire socks or do group rides very often at all!

In no particular order:

Ability to delete things in the garage

Garage organization capabilities (Save favorite set-ups, etc)

New challenges

Enable the Wahoo Climb to work automatically during workouts (Currently only operates manually during workouts)

HUD customization capabilities

Introduce “in the draft” stat similar to what RGT had

Ability to block individual users from following you or chatting with you (surprised this isn’t already an option with creepy lurkers and privacy concerns)

Definitely a good suggestion.

If it was done like Microsoft Flight (by Asobo and Microsoft) then this would really put Zwift in the next level versus its rivals. It would be a massive step up.

It means the community could create new courses /climbs or even worlds and share them via a download center or external sites.

I think that’s one thing ( of many ) that led to the downfall of RGT.
Too many riders riding their own Magic Roads instead of the main “worlds”, leading to less populated worlds.

Agreed having everyone riding in their own world is not great for the community as a balance i would love to see custom routes in zwift for events where organisers can make new routes in the existing worlds…might even put that as my most wanted feature.

So so many great features been suggested here hopefully zwift takes note and delivers some of them as some are so simple but would add great value to the user experience.

Is this the impetus behind locking some routes from free riding until a rider gets to level 10 or whatever?

If would fight against that with every bit of energy I have and I know a lot of others who will back me. That would be a massive failure leading to the “haves” (the clubs or friends of Zwift) or the “have nots” (ones without clubs or connections).

It’s as bad as custom jerseys.

The locked down worlds (and only few routes that I like riding) is one of the reasons I keep a Fulgaz account and possibly might cancel my Zwift account some day.

Custom jerseys i get your point although it’s a lot better than a year or two ago hopefully they can improve it some more but i don’t understand your point on custom routes.

If that was possible for events whether that be on the public calendar or via club events where are the have nots?
