I find it odd to for ZwiftHQ announce “mystery” spin wheels and not give details of where they are and how they are activated.
Eric is doing another article at Zwift Insider on Monday that may well give more details, but this event went live ~22 hours ago and I suspect there is a media embargo until Monday.
You wanted to ride up the Alpe 20 times to search for the jersey you are missing only to find out it was given out at the Zwift KOM ?

I wouldn’t ride the Alpe even once if the point was only to get a jersey. Other reasons yes.

While recovering from a couple of broken ribs 3 weeks ago, I rode the Volcano Circuit CW, Jarvis KOM, Volcano KOM, and Hilly KOM.
All 4 were prizes I had already won on previous Big Spins, so I received Drops bonus for each spin.
The wheel never said what the award was - just that I had previously won it.
Right, but there are pictures of either jerseys or helmets as it spins.
I assume the epic kom, radio tower, and the Alp have better prizes?
If youre doing a workout do you get the big spin?
I’ve read a suggestion that you are limited to 20 spins of a specific “mystery” spinner.
Again, if true, why are we not being told this when the event began on Friday?

It’s a classic “Teaser launch” - often used in modern marketing.
A company “teases” the public with a little bit of information, then the customers do the marketing for them by speculating about what something could be - or by sharing details they’ve discovered with others.
I think what they’ve done is very clever. I’ve never been interested in the Big Spin in the previous two years, but I’ve gone past 4 spinners for 5 spins just this weekend - on routes I haven’t ridden for ages, to see what happens.
And for those who don’t want to speculate or find things for themselves, ZwiftInsider will have the full details just three days after the teaser.
I don’t know. I was doing a free ride, making manual turns to get the 4 spins.
I can’t see why you would not get the spins during a workout.

I, unaware of the pre-launch, was surprised to get the BMX bandit at the Alpe KOM on Friday (along with the usual Alpe spinner prize). Can confirm drops instead of Atomic Cruiser Wheels at the Epic KOM yesterday, and no bikes or wheels on the Radio Tower spinner.

I did the big ring route 3 times yesterday and got the spinner 3 times, however I’m not sure which segment unlocked it.
Is the Radio Tower segment have the spin which drops helmet/shoes/socks ？
