During today’s event I was helping out with sweeping. After 59.5 km during one sweep the riders around me suddenly disappeared.
Funny thing was that it happened to another sweeper too. We lost draft and all communication both in zwift as well as in the companion app.
It turns out both me and my sweeping friend were clicking the rider who needed help with sweep, and did the fan view to see where the rider was.
This was done from the chat log in the companion app.
This triggered the blank out of all riders.
The workaround was to go to home (in companion app), then ‘zwifting now’ tab. Select any rider in list and press ‘fan view’ again. When pressing ‘back to me’ all riders appeared once again and everything was back to normal.
