Mac blank screen, colored screen and black blocks [October 2021] [1.18.0] [SOLVED]

Crash after clicking Let’s Go

Same here: crashes after hitting “Let’s Go”.

MacOS High Sierra
10.13.6
iMac (27-inch mid 2011)

Macbook Pro 13" Mid 2012
Processor 2.5 Ghz Dual-Core Intel Core i%
Graphics Intel HD Graphics 4000 1536 MB
MacOS Catalina version 10.15.7

macOS High Sierra, iMac 2013. Loading screen appears, press “Lets Go!” and after a few seconds the main app crashes silently.

I’ve now put my feature request here:

With this version from October 20th from macOS Catalina 10.15.7, my screen trembling when I start cycling in every route I choose.

No luck here either. I don’t understand why there always seems to be issues whenever updates are released? If my employer released updates that caused issues and errors to this degree to their customer base, heads would roll…

Same problem, click lets go , and disappears.

MacBook Pro 9,2 (Mid 2012)
Dual-Core Intel Core i5 2,5 GHz
Video: Intel HD Graphics 4000 1536 MB
OS: macOS Catalina (v10.15.7)

I am having the same issue - the app opens, and then when I click “Let’s go”, it crashed within 2-3 seconds. There are no crash reports or other dialogue box opening - it just crashes. I uninstalled, then reinstalled the Zwift app, as well as updated my macOS software and it still causes the same problem. I dont have any VPN/proxy serves, or firewalls running. Im using:

macOS Sierra, version 10.12.6
MacBook Pro (13-inch, Early 2011)
Processor 2.3GHz Intel Core i5
Memory 8 GB 1333 MHz DDR3
Graphics Intel HD Graphics 3000 512 MB

Thanks a lot for assisting with the issue!

same problem-- when click lets go it crashes

Similar problem here. 2019 MacBook Pro on Big Sur with Radeon RX580 eGPU normally running 4k / Ultra quality. Zwift doesn’t seem to detect the eGPU but I was able to manually force the resolution to 4k and it ran fine with Medium quality settings. Trying to decide if I force the quality to Ultra for tomorrow’s ride or wait until the bug-fix is pushed.

No problems running Zwift on my new iMac, which runs Big Sur 11.6. Maybe that could be relevant?
But unfortunately that’s not the Mac in my pain cave, that’s an older one. So now my legs are begging, but I don’t want to carry iMac’s around.

I get this

You’ve got the old “launcher”, so you should uninstall and reinstall (as some other people were advised to further up).
You’ll probably get some other issues, though

I have nearly the same computer model and the same eGPU (Radeon RX580) attached. Zwift doesn’t detect it here either.
I tried going for the “Medium” or “Low” resolution but it didn’t help, Zwift is just continuously flashing and crashing and the GPU usage is at 100% whenever I’m nok looking at the menu or the pairing screen.

[SORRY BUT THIS IS NOT SOLVED]
Hello everybody, I`m very disappointed, the app have started to crash in El Capitan 10.11.6 in the last days. It’s very frustrating, I’m going to stop my account in a few days if it is not solved, and come back when I could buy new computer.
