Thanks for the insight. .guess I need to pedal harder:upside_down_face:
Assuming you are referring to the extremely low watts?
Looks like someone or something managed to reset your FTP in your profile in the main menu.
You have selected the hidden ‘Zone 0.1’ workouts.
it happens if you start an ftp test but quit early. maybe.
Set your FTP to something (quite a bit) higher than 5W or 6W, and it will probably improve If you don’t know your FTP, have a new test…
I just got 1.58 available on my Mac and my Kickr Bike v1 and Zwift Play both do select intersections even on v1.58. I don’t see an option to disable this. Though, It doesn’t happen at all intersections and that can explain different experiences. I noticed that it always works on the turn to the Climb Portal and it does the same most of the time when you exit the Climb Portal, though not always. I tested this on the Cheddar Gorge Climb portal just yesterday.
I think it still does but to a really small values. Almost imperceptible like if the trainer difficulty is set to near 0%.
Sorry about this issue - we’re still working on this but it has been difficult to identify the root cause of the issue. We’re targeting having some improvements for this coming out ideally in the 1.60 game release.
How does this update??
If your on Windows or Mac then it updates automatically via the Zwift launcher.
If you’re on another platform then it relies on you going to your platform’s app store to do an update, unless your device is set to automatically update.your apps (but be aware in this latter case it might not necessarily do that immediately).
Thank you
Hi folks, I’m running a JetBlack volt v1 running latest firmware, and 1.58 zwift on pc or android.
On both those platforms erg mode has stopped working since yesterday…
If I run the volt using the JetBlack android app that manages erg and power changes no problem. Can you have a look at that please and lmk. In the middle of a program so keen to get erg working properly.
Thanks
Simon
Zwift 1.58 completely broke Apple Watch support. Now, zwift companion (tethering connections to apple watch and trainer on apple iphone) simply says ‘no signal’, though the zwift apple app loads when zwift starts up, it just won’t connect anymore. Is there any way to roll back to 1.57 so it works again?
In fact, even though Zwift says there’s a connection failure, the apple watch app says “in game”.
Same for me. Exact same behavior and completely broken. Was at least working, with minor glitches, before the 1.58 update.
Would be nice to have the simple Companion App on the watch have consistent, clear behavior. It cannot be that complex of a piece of software. All it does is collect the HR and share to the server.
No it’s not possible to roll back an update. The official line from Zwift is that having people on different versions of the game causes problems.
The Apple Watch hasn’t been officially supported by Zwift for quite some time, but some people like yourself have been lucky enough for it still to work. Official support is in the works for release this season.
Is anyone else having problems pairing their Apple Watch after this update? It was working earlier this week, but I couldn’t get it to work this morning. Restarted the app in iPad and Apple Watch. Verified the versions and they match those listed here. I sometimes have trouble getting it to pair, but this time it never showed up in the list. It would say pairing, but never be selectable in the app. Usually it works after a couple of tries and always connects, but sometimes doesn’t stay connected.
Try using the Heartcast app and see if that helps. Search the forum for details if needed.
Apple Watch isn’t supported right now. It used to be but support was dropped and Zwift announced that support would be coming back this “winter”. So you’ll need to be patient.
Had a weird thing on my first (group) ride after the upgrade: the power numbers did not seem to make any sense (like, I stopped pedalling and it took forever for the numbers to drop to zero), after a while I understood the nature of the problem, it was simply that the actual power was transmitted but was reflected in-game (both the numbers shown and how the avatar moved) with a delay of ~10 seconds. After a while I rebooted the trainer and it went back to normal. PC + Kickr V5 over BLE, rebooted the computer after the upgrade.
