My understanding from the AI Tech update post is this update does have some changes that help enable Zwift to test PD4 further. It does not enable PD4, but will open up the ability to tweak more parameters or whatever was blocking additional testing. So part of this release is “Changes to enable further PD4 testing” I would think.
I was hoping “Build Me Up Lite” would keep the number of weeks but reduce the number of intense workouts per week (moving to 2-3 rather than 4-5 workouts at high intensity) without reducing the TSS of those individual workouts. This would enable people doing Build Me Up Light to add in Zone 2 volume or more recovery days for people who found it hard to recover from 4-5 workouts per week in Build Me Up.
But it looks like what it did was go to 2 workouts per week, shortened it to 4 weeks, AND reduced the TSS of those workouts by a significant amount by making those 2 workouts/week a lot shorter, with fewer interval sets etc…

You’re right - La Reine, Gotham Grind, Watopia’s Waistband, and Richmond UCI Reverse are not new routes. What’s changed is their status as event-only routes to ones you can free ride. Badges were created because of this.
CORRECTION: If you rode one of these routes in an event - you should see it’s already completed. If you have not - they’ll be greyed out until you do. These are brand new badges, so everyone will see them greyed out until you complete these routes moving forward.
