Game Update 1.32 [December 2022]

Looks to have sorted fonts (w/kg and time ahead/behind) jumping around in Rider List. Power in upper left still HUD jumps around.

Noticed this bit of lazy coding but as I dont wear my glasses when riding, I probably wouldn’t notice normally so probably been there all along.

My understanding from the AI Tech update post is this update does have some changes that help enable Zwift to test PD4 further. It does not enable PD4, but will open up the ability to tweak more parameters or whatever was blocking additional testing. So part of this release is “Changes to enable further PD4 testing” I would think.

Is this why tonight I’ve lost my minimise button and task bar? Now i can’t work or control my media an pod casts while im zwifting.
Not cool…

Scaling fonts to fit the width of characters which causes the HUD to jump can be distracting for some Zwifters…

No new courses for UCI E-Sport Worlds?

And we continue to wait for proper Apple Silicon support… “Zoon”

Some high value improvements there.

Apparently the latest and greatest Google phone (Pixel 7 Pro) wasn’t good enough to get the new home screen…

Both my Android mobiles (Mi A2 and Poco F3) switched to the new UI on the second Zwift launch after the 1.32 update.

Will actually try it out another time.

Just tried again on my phone, and now also have the new UI (second launch)

It looks very good. I look forward to seeing the graphics get even more optimized for the Apple TV.

I was hoping “Build Me Up Lite” would keep the number of weeks but reduce the number of intense workouts per week (moving to 2-3 rather than 4-5 workouts at high intensity) without reducing the TSS of those individual workouts. This would enable people doing Build Me Up Light to add in Zone 2 volume or more recovery days for people who found it hard to recover from 4-5 workouts per week in Build Me Up.

But it looks like what it did was go to 2 workouts per week, shortened it to 4 weeks, AND reduced the TSS of those workouts by a significant amount by making those 2 workouts/week a lot shorter, with fewer interval sets etc…

Game still excessively CPU bound on Makuri Islands versus versions 1.24-1.30, and load times still significantly slower than they were before.

New feature I guess

Huh, Gotham Grind is nearly three years old. Did we lose progress? Cool.

You’re right - La Reine, Gotham Grind, Watopia’s Waistband, and Richmond UCI Reverse are not new routes. What’s changed is their status as event-only routes to ones you can free ride. Badges were created because of this.

CORRECTION: If you rode one of these routes in an event - you should see it’s already completed. If you have not - they’ll be greyed out until you do. These are brand new badges, so everyone will see them greyed out until you complete these routes moving forward.

I think all four were event-only and had no badge. Be interesting to see if there actually are badges to earn or if it’s a bug on the Badges screen.

ETA: thanks, @shooj :slightly_smiling_face:

What’s the additional installer step for on Mac? It didn’t give any info about what it was installing, and it would’ve been polite to.
