Four Horseman route completed but not badge not earned?

Me too, Uber Pretzel this morning, took me over 6h. No badge. It was my last badge to achieve as well. I’m gutted.

Same thing happened to my wife and a couple of her friends. They rode the Four horseman on Saturday, and her and two friends didn’t get the badge. Two of the riders in the meetup did receive the badge. It seems all who had updated to the latest version, didn’t get the route badge. :face_with_symbols_over_mouth:

Happened to me today, did another 10 miles to see if it would appear. Logged a help desk request, but not holding out any hope.

Add me to this list. Just finished. No badge. Went to 91.6km up to the Zwift KOM. Nada!

This just happened to me too!! @Ride_Cyclery, any chance we can get the badge if we can submit a Strava route or picture as proof?!?

I have never had an issue like this and it’s nuts so many are having the same issue.

Wow, it’s interesting so many of you out there have experienced the same issue. In a way, it’s re-assuring (but also disturbing) this can’t be user error, but a technical glitch on Zwift’s side.
I raised a support ticket on this issue when it happened (3 days ago), but so far, have heard nothing from Zwift.

Same thing happened to me yesterday. Sucks to spend 3 hours completing a route and not get credit :hot_face::rage:

I’m just impressed that so many of you completed the 4 horseman route this weekend, good for you all!

I hope Zwift support will take care of you, but they always say they can’t manually add a badge.

Maybe they will change their practice and award you all who so deserve it.

I would also really like to have Zwift respond to this thread with a solution. As of today, I have heard absolutely nothing from them.

This has already happened to me and they blamed the internet … that’s the answer from Zwift support.

That is one real copout of a reply - given the sheer number of people who have experienced this issue (including group meetups where some people in the meetup did get the badge and others did not), this cannot be put down to user error or the internet falling over - I know when I crossed the banner where the route ended, I was surrounded by other riders which suggests my internet connection was active. When internet connection is lost, all other riders disappear from the screen.

Based on the above, the issue of not being awarded the badge (in my instance the Four Horsemen badge) would have to be a tech issue on their side. I am happy for @Ride_Cyclery to correct me on this, however they have not responded to this thread or the support ticket I raised.

I know one other than myself on Saturday that did 4 horsemen - no badge and 1 uber pretzel same day no badge

Has happened to me before and their help team are very unhelpful. They always blame everything apart from Zwift. Even when you got the Zwift Insider verified segment on Strava as proof.

They will use every excuse except sorry it is Zwift fault and here is your badge.

Been a member of Zwift for over 3 years, a not raised an issue before. Find the platform is great, there will be bugs as in all software so would not moan for every issue I see. Especially how quick this platform has expanded to meet the demand. But this response is really annoying, first of all they did not read my question and have produced a boilerplate answer.

Ended up doing 68miles and 7,700 ft with no badge. Is it an error or are the route stats different to the badges. Is there a list of the miles, routes etc that correlate to the badges. A "I’m sorry to hear that you aren’t seeing the badge that you were expecting, but I’m happy to provide more information.

Many of the courses in Zwift have lead-ins that aren’t part of the main route, and this portion doesn’t count toward the badge achievement. To earn a particular route badge, you’ll have to complete the lead-in to get to the route and then ride the full distance on the route.

While I’d like to credit your account for the missing progress, I won’t be able to do so due to technical limitations. I know this isn’t what you were hoping to hear, and understand the frustration. :frowning:

To avoid such problems in the future, make sure that after finishing the ride, you save and exit Zwift properly so that your progress isn’t lost.

To do that:
Select ‘Menu’ from the lower-left corner of your screen.
Select ‘End Ride’ on the next screen.
Finally, choose ‘Save & Exit.’ If you don’t save your ride, your progress will be lost.

If you’re experiencing this issue, and haven’t yet written into our team, what I would ask of you is to do the following:

  1. Follow the instructions on this article to obtain your log files. Please do your best to pinpoint the specific date that you had the issue so we can find the corresponding log. *Note that AppleTV users will not be able to obtain log files.

  2. Send the files to our team at support@zwift.com and make explicit mention of the ticket number ZBRI-662 as well as a link to this forum thread so we can quickly find the conversations.

This will allow us to collect all your reports and log files in an efficient manner and get you all sorted out.

Thanks a ton for all your help and patience. In this day and age, we all know that if it isn’t recorded it doesn’t count, but that shouldn’t mean it gets lost because of something we might be able to fix.

Hi Flint,

I was planning on doing the LEQP Provence badge hunter ride for this on Sunday morning?

I have an Apple TV and it’s a long time to commit to a ride if I can’t be sure the badge will be given.

Any idea if there is a bug before I do the ride please?
