I just experienced a full freeze (all stopped and unresponsive) of zwift on a copy of the “over under and beyond” workout after.the first over block. I use this workout regularly. Running sept update version with new hud. There was also a pause on a previous block change but not a total crash.
What are you running the game on? If it’s a PC, please share the make/model and all the system specs. The info from the system and display tabs in dxdiag would be helpful.
Hi @JonE
Shuji at Zwift HQ here. I see you’ve been running version 1.73 on a Windows machine. I’ve flagged up your report to the team.
Can you give us more context on the first “full freeze” - did the Zwift app stay visible and unresponsive, or did it totally crash?
Also - by any chance do you use Training Peaks? There is currently a known issue affecting a small percentage of Training Peaks users
Zwift was visible but unresponsive.
The workout I mentioned isnt trainer road: its a copy into my custom workouts of the spring training workout of the same name.
Windows 11 pc, 16" ASUS ROG Zephyrus, WUXGA 165Hz, i7 12700H, GeForce RTX 4060.
Hmm that is quite a capable laptop, should not have any issues. What do you see when you upload a log file to zwiftalizer.com? Does it confirm that the game ran on the RTX 4060 and not the integrated graphics which I assume are also available in that machine? Video screenshots disabled in Zwift settings?
Thank for this extra detail. It is possible that the copied workout file may have something slightly amiss and that is causing the app to hang.
We sent you an email - would you please check your inbox and spam filter and respond to that? We’d like to have you email that workout file to us so we can troubleshoot. We don’t allow text files to be uploaded to this forum because text files carry a risk of malware.
