Connection Failure Whilst Riding

For me, I get the same connection message at the top but nobody disappears and my guy keeps riding until a short period later the message disappears. The only thing that changes is my position at the top of the leaderboard changes to - -, before reappearing again.

Worth noting (see this thread) there are a couple of different types of “connection” messages: “Connection Disconnected” which is a server connection issue, and “Connection Failure” for sensor dropouts.

When I see leaderboard position disappearing, it suggests to me the former is happening.

I would be curious to see if the problem continues if you don’t screen mirror and just run Zwift on the MacBook’s screen. I’m not sure, but maybe that is what is causing signal interference?

I was going to suggest the exact same thing. AirPlay and other types of screen mirroring have caused no end of problems for me with Zwift. I’d suggest sticking to hardwired HDMI connections.
