We’re aware of a bug in the game app and Companion app that’s causing chat messages to not display in an Event. Specifically, a sender’s message will be marked as being sent but will not display for others in that same event.
It’s a complex issue that we are working to fix as soon as possible. As soon as we have an update, we will alert the community with additional details.
So this is different from the message visibility issue for large events, and messages leaking from one event to another (say from a run to a ride)?
Also, as a public service announcement, typing a chat message longer than ~100–150 characters in the game client itself (as opposed to Companion) still causes at least the Windows app to crash.
