Category Enforcement Glitch

So I have been racing for a while now and I was recently moved up to category B on zwiftpower, however now when I try and join a category inforcement race it will only let me race in A as my ftp is 215 at 57 kilos. Can anyone help?

As far as I’m aware category enforcement is based off of your performance in game and is not linked to Zwift Power.

Yes, but the game thinks im an A rider because I have a high wpk due to me being a kid

Unlikely it’s your ftp that’s the cause. You likely put out a very good 1 minute or 5 minute effort recently.

You probably triggered the 5-8min power critera.

OP Zwift Classics - Watch The Femmes! “5 min at 4.8w/kg” + 10 min at 4.667w/kg

wkg are high, but the watts are under A levels. Does Cat Enforcement not look at this ?

You shouldn’t be A. i guess they changed something since i got moved up yesterday after a pretty uneventful day but i was way beyond the MAP limit already so i didn’t think anything of it, you aren’t though.

Cat enforcement should look at both wkg and watts. Wkg as the main measure, but there is CP wattage floor for each category. Definitely does not seem like @Ryan_Nickerson_CRYO should be cat enforced into A.

250watts is the floor for the A right? is that with or with out .95 ? 264watts for 10 min = next 10 min at 236watts to be blow 250 watts/to match.

i am going to say he is over. the B cap. my ruling. “King bath salts/Supreme Chancellor”

on side note he did this in a C race with CE!

I would wait a few days for @James_Zwift to return from Holidays.

Looking at your data on Zwiftpower looks like your CP is calculated to be over 250W (+4,4W/kg)…and this event most likely triggered the upgrade Zwift Classics - Watch The Femmes!

All your events have green lighting bolt and your data on Zwiftpower is not correct as it is based on Live data and not Fit File…this would suggest that all your activities are saved private in Zwift.

I was moved up yesterday too pal, had similar issues a couple of weeks ago also, could only enter A for a couple of days but then changed next time I looked, CE is awesome, lol

Where do you see the 10min power ? I see 20min 226w/4.03wkg and 5min 267w/4.8wkg

When in Rider Profile you can click on Power and check Power Curve for every minute.

Switched to mac, way easier than phone:joy::+1:

So these are the CE parameters. The only one i see in question is VO2 max and watts. Wonder what duration is being used for that ?

I think it’s something like an average of the 3, 5 and 8 min powers. Or was it just 3 and 5? Can’t remember.

So i sort of understand your(?) write up, but i still dont see how OP(my kid) has been bumped to A. At any rate, he will give A a shot and see what happens🤞
