ZwiftHub is connecting but shows zero watts (MacBook Pro)

I am trying to get back into Zwift and I can not seem to make my Zwift Hub work. I get everything connected to my Mac just fine but when I go to pedal it shows 0 Watts or cadence.

I made sure the firmware was up to date, I redownloaded Zwift, I unplugged the Zwift Hub for 30+ minutes, and there aren’t really any other electronics in the room. I also tried with an Ipad just to see if it was something with my computer and got the same problem.

Does anyone have any ideas? Any help is appreciated

Is your subscription up-to-date? Zwift discontinued the free monthly 25k over the summer, so you’ll need to have a paid subscription for things to work.

I would shut down Zwift on the Mac and pair the trainer to something else, like if you have a cycling computer that would be a good thing to test it with. The reason to do this is to understand whether the trainer is simply dead.

When the subscription has lapsed you should still see Watts on the HUD, just no avatar movement.

Yes it is.

Alright I can see if I have one. I tried with an IPad after shutting down my computer and still had no luck. I have a feeling the trainer died even though it was working perfectly fine last time I used it.

Warranty on the trainer is 1 year in the US, and 2 years in the UK/EU. If you’re just a little over the expiration date like days or a few weeks I would ask Zwift if they’ll offer you a discount on a replacement. If it’s dead and well out of warranty then it’s probably landfill.

I am outside of the warranty sadly. But the light on the trainer still works like its supposed to and there are no weird noises of any kind. I am really not sure but it would be a bummer if that is the case
