Last week i update my direto virtual shift cog update after that The power fluctuates a lot, it suddenly increases or decreases from 120 to 140, it constantly fluctuates by 15-20 while turning at the same cadence, I can get 120-150 watts even in 1st gear, normally it should not exceed 80
Are you using a Zwift Cog, and if so is that the new Elite-specific Cog (with a 18T sprocket) or the regular Zwift Cog (with 14T sprocket)?
Or are you using a regular cassette, and if so which sprocket?
What cadence are you doing when you experience this problem?
Zwift cog 75-85 cadence
If you’re using the 14 tooth Zwift Cog, you may want to get the 18 tooth Zwift Cog designed for the Elite trainers. Or put a cassette on the trainer and try it when using a sprocket with more than 14 teeth. Some background on the Direto and virtual shifting:
I just disassembled it and counted it, it has 14 teeth, I have a 105 casette, there is no 18 in the casette, there are 17 and 19, if I put a 19, the problem will probably be solved ?
I would try it with the 19 tooth cog and see if it’s better. If it is, you could choose to buy the Zwift Cog with 18 teeth if you want. If it’s not better then there’s no point. You could also shop for a Hyperglide compatible single speed conversion kit instead of the Cog. Those are easily obtained from a bike shop or online retailer.
