Elite Direto XR with Zwift Cog and Click Resistance Issue

Hello @Marisa_Bosman and welcome to the Zwift Forums! I can shed some light on your experience here.

While it boast the highest maximum power of all Zwift Ready trainers, the Elite Direto XR also has a slightly higher resistance floor than other Zwift Ready trainers due to its internal mechanical resistance. At the lowest gear setting, a Zwifter on the Direto with the Zwift Cog will bottom out no lower than about 130 watts of output around 90rpm.

Your output seems a bit higher than expected for your cadence if you’re on a flat road at gear 1, so please feel free to contact Support if you’re not able to at least hit that lower limit of around 130W @ 90rpm. However, I’m afraid there’s not much that can easily be done if you’re aiming to hit target wattages lower than this without lowering your cadence significantly.
