Hi team, it’s been twice in a week that Zwift is freezing forcing me to end the application in the task manager and loosing part if the job on top on not being able to finish the training.
Could you please look into this.
Note that my computer is up to date and does not present any issue otherwise.
Thank you
Sophie
You would need to post detailed information about your PC to get useful advice about this. Screenshots from Windows DXDIAG (system and display tabs) would be enough.
Bonjour Sophie,
Même souci me concernant ! Je suis informé que “Zwift.exe” a cessé de fonctionner et effectivement la sortie est perdue…je vais tenter ma chance avec le “chatbot” car je suis certain que mon PC n’est pas en cause.
Cordialement,
Laurent
You should also share all the details about your PC. The support team can see all those details without any need for you to provide them, but their response may be slow so if you post those details here you may learn some things to try.
Hey Paul,
By “details” you mean the day an hour when the freezing happen ?
I mean the specifications for the PC or the manufacturer and model.
If you run the Windows DXDIAG program and share screenshots from the system and display tabs, that’s probably enough.
Here are a few things you can try:
- Go to the AMD website and download the latest video driver. There have been recent reports of problems with AMD systems that were resolved by installing the driver downloaded from AMD.
- Your system has much less than the minimum amount of RAM for running Zwift. You have 4GB. The minimum is 8GB, and your GPU will steal memory to use for graphics, which means you should install more than 8GB RAM in the laptop. I believe the Lenovo 81N3 has 4GB soldered on the motherboard, and a slot for adding more memory. I would add an 8GB upgrade in that slot.
