I have a new Zwift Ride (a few weeks old) hooked up to an Apple TV. Everything is paired correctly and all the buttons work. However the gear changes have stopped working.
I’ve checked the firmware on the trainer and the controls and updated the Apple TV.
It doesn’t seem to be a physical button issue since ride ons and power ups work on.
I’m stumped
Is Virtual Shifting turned on in the settings of Zwift, or is that option not there?
I’m having the same problem. The virtual shift was in settings to turn on/off and now just gone and doesn’t show up though all the other features work.
I see the gear range settings under hardware. Is that what you mean?
I appreciate that you contacted us over Forums for the first time, My name is Haziel and I’m part of the Zwift Support team.
Could you please confirm that you have the firmware of your trainer updated, I recommend you check this article about updating firmware from Wahoo, once is updated please also check that the virtual shifting is on, please check the game settings.
Please try these steps and if you need further assistance don’t hesitate to reach out at support@zwift.com.
I’ve managed to get this working again. Seems a firmware update of the trainer followed by a reset of the controls fixed it!
