Zwift Ride Controllers Update

Nice update for the Zwift Play when you have a Apple TV with the bonded Bluetooth but where is the update for all the people with the Zwift Ride:cry:. Is there anything news about this

@Rudi_Vullings

Shuji at Zwift HQ here. If by “bonded Bluetooth” do you mean the left and right controllers linking together so they take up just one Bluetooth signal? That is something that Zwift Ride controllers already do, and it should look like this in your Pairing Screen.

If you’re seeing something different for your Ride controllers - use the Zwift Companion app to verify which version of the Ride firmware is installed. Instructions are here.

Play firmware update v 2.0.1 adds this functionality that the Ride Controllers already had, so I’m not sure if we’re talking about the same thing? Are you asking about the ability of the controllers to bridge their signal through a trainer that supports that feature? If yes - this is something that the Wahoo KICKR Core v2 and the Jetblack Victory support. Be sure you’ve updated those trainers firmware in the Wahoo or Jetblack apps to enable this function.

Hello Shuji

I see it you are right. With the Apple TV we will have always the problem with the available Bluetooth connections. Mabey to new one has more. :face_with_peeking_eye::+1:
