Hi all, I know that there is no virtual shift on the the Kickr V5 (which is disgraceful), My problem is the bike feels loose when mounted and I have to over tighten so that it pinches the V2 hub too much so that the chain hangs up when I back pedal. I noticed in the how to video that I have the narrow spacer is missing that goes on to the axle before the locking nut, and it wasn’t included with the parts. Could this spacer missing be causing me the problem?
Hi @Ty_Carter_ZRW and welcome to the forums! Alejandro here from Zwift. Appreciate you used this place to post your query, and it’s great to know you are interested in getting the Zwift Cog V2 on your Wahoo KICKR V5.
Keep in mind that the Wahoo KICKR V5 is not compatible with the Zwift Cog or Zwift Ride since there is no available firmware that makes your trainer Virtual Shifting compatible.
Here you can check out the Zwift Ready Compatibility article, and if you need assistance with returning your order, please do not hesitate to write us at support@zwift.com.
