Looking for any experience with Zwift Play issues where the controller won’t power on. I literally have never had to charge ever before, but decided to top them off since I was starting to do more Zwifting during the Tour de Zwift. Right controller charged and was fine. Left controller showed charged, but when I try to power it on nothing happens.
The light is solid green when plugged in. I unplug it and then try to power on and nothing happens. I’ve tried to hold it down for 30+ seconds and tried multiple different charging cables but no luck.
I’ve contacted support, but the only advice given was the 30 second power button and different cable. The next suggestion was to take it to a bike shop, which seemed strange since I bought it directly from Zwift and my local bike shop had nothing to do with this purchase and / or supporting it.
Just wondering if I now have $100 set of paperweights?
I’m trying to go through the normal Zwift support channel, but the first response took 3.5 days. Going on 2 more since I replied to tell them that I tried their suggestions and it didn’t work.
Given they have given them away to level 85 people (I’m not 85 but have been on Zwift for a LONG time), I didn’t think getting one replaced would be out of the question.
If they’re under warranty then you should keep hammering on support to give you a replacement. The fact that they told you to go to a bike shop makes me wonder if you may have received an AI hallucination response. If you look down at the bottom of the response it should say whether it’s from their AI support system or if it came from a person. When you get a response from the AI system, you should assume it might be complete rubbish.
