Since yesterday cannot connect cadence via Zwift on AppleTV, works only via companion. Version 1.77.2, Apple TV on tv.OS 18.1 trainer Tacx Flux S. Tried to switch off trainer, apple TV, close all phone BLE connections. After 20 min trying had to connect via companion for the ZRL race.
Seems that other racing team members had the same problem with different setups (iPad, ATV with different trainers).
Shuji at Zwift HQ here. We peeked at your server game logs and your log files indicate that this might be improved by force-closing the Zwift app after you’ve finished your session. Here’s how.
That will clear out a lot of temp file clutter, and should help Zwift to run without issue. Would you try that and let us know if that helped?
Another habit we’d encourage is to power off the Apple TV and reboot it. The operating system will also build up a lot of temp file clutter, and power cycling the ATV is also a good thing. Restarting the Apple TV is not the same as putting it to sleep using the power button on your remote.
