Zwift not responding on my laptop

I have just signed up to Zwift last week and use a Wahoo Kickr Trainer. Today I was almost half way through my Watopia ride (around 27 minutes into the ride) when the screen froze and wouldn’t restart. Eventually I had to press Control, Alt, Del on my laptop and exit the program. I tried starting again with another route and same thing happened after only 2 minutes!
Any suggestions what to do to stop this happening and to retrieve the ride as it didn’t upload to my Strava, which it is supposed to do automatically.

What are the specs of your laptop?

It is a fairly new Lenovo laptop with a 1.2 GHz Intel Core i3 processor and 8.00GB of RAM.
