I’ve used zwift for years now, several times a week. In the past week or so, I have had at least 5 instances of freezing and the app being unresponsive after about 10-20 minutes into my session, and they were different routes/rides each time, so I had to stop my ride, restart, only to have the same issue. My research on this did not help me find answers to the issue. This laptop, a hp spectre with 16 gb ram, is 1.5 years old, I have all software updated, restarted my laptop, turned off my VPN, etc. What could possibly be the cause ? My husband is riding right next to me with the identical set-up, and he is able to complete his rides, no problem, so it is not Wi-Fi connectivity. His laptop and wahoo kickr trainer, ANT+, etc., everything is identical. Like others, I use this laptop only for zwift.
Having this issue as of tonight - since the latest update. Running Windows 11 Version 23H2. First time Zwift crashed 20 minutes into the ride then, after restarting, it crashed again 40 minutes into a new ride.
This sounds similar to another recent report. My first suggestion is to get the very latest Intel graphics driver (link in the comment below) and see if that helps. If not contact support@zwift.com and ask them to look at your logs to see if they can find a cause for the crash.
