Zwift latest update breaks Mac and Apple tv

(12/06/2024 @ 15:28 CST). Zwift on My Apple TV (Apple TV 18.1) was able to connect to my Saris H3 but not my HRM today. (The HRM had work just fine yesterday.). I have been using the Apple TV and the Saris for over two years without incident. However today, after using Trainingpeaks Virtual Zwift did not see the Saris.

I had installed Trainingpeaks Virtual but had not completed the setup. I switched to TPV and was able to connect the Saris H3 smart trainer and complete my workout. When I finished I went back to Swift and now it did not see the Saris H3. Thinking TPV was not releasing the BLE connection after quitting, I deleted the app from my Apple TV. Zwift still did not see the Saris.**

Plan B: Try another device. I setup my MacBook Pro (2012) by installing the Zwift app for mac. I tried connecting my Saris without any luck. (The apple TV was shutoff).

Plan C: I tried my iPhone 14 Pro and it works just as advertised. (Training Peaks Virtual worked as well). It seems clear the problem is in the Zwift app.

So, continuing with Plan C, I tried my new iPad (IOS 18.1.1), after installing Zwift. Now a new wrinkle. Zwift still did not see the Saris. But It did see the Stages Powermeter that is installed. Zwift never saw this before.

In summary, From Thursday to Friday the App quit working. Now I know you going to tell me my (You fill in the blank) is the problem.

Consider, I have connected the Saris to my iPhone, I have connected to the Saris using the Saris IOS app on my iPhone. It did not offer a firmware upgrade. Apple does not use Ant+ so that is not an issue. I keep going back to the fact that I did not change anything. I was able to use Zwift yesterday with any problem.

The one and only variable that could be the problem is the Zwift app. That App on my iPad IOS 18.1.1, my Mac OS version of Zwift, and the Apple TV os version 18.1.1 all failed with the current version of the Zwift app. It’s clear the Bluetooth driver is not connecting.**

While I acknowledge the one thing I have not tried is a windows 10 or 11 PC with Zwift installed yet. Zwift needs to work with Apple devices. I purchased the Apple TV just to use with Zwift.

I hope you can fix my problem.
