Hi I’m trying to repurpose a bike a “Riverside” from Decathlon
But where the axel goes through it doesn’t really fit (image attached) and leaves the bike very wobbly on the hub. I’ve really tried to force it as it’s a mm or less off but I can’t really see any other way to fit it. I’d really appreciate some direction! Thank you!
Is that the thru-axle adapter? Because if so it’s supposed to be the QR setup for that bike.
Looks like it’s the pink QR adapter. If it doesn’t fit then filing the dropout is probably the solution.
That dropout looks like it’s been mangled by something. I’d tidy it up with a file.
