I have Zwift hub and click. Click hasn’t stayed connected aince 1.74 update. Now hub is giving me no signal issue and has connection issues with update to 1.74.2. Tried different tablets. All firmware seems up to date. Can get stable connection to my Kikr Core including a connection to the click. Seems to indicate problem with hub?
Shuji at Zwift HQ here. I split your question out from its original location because it’s not specific to a game version.
Your Hub and Click are indeed on the latest versions of their respective firmware. Easy to overlook, but did you power cycle the trainer during your troubleshooting?
Looking through your recent server log history - I’m seeing you log in from two Samsung tablets to troubleshoot as you described. One of them - the Galaxy Tab A7(SM-T500) still shows a Kurt Kinetic Road machine as one of the trainers you’ve used in the past. I take it this tablet is your preferred tablet?
I’d like to have you uninstall the main Zwift app from that tablet, and reinstall. On mobile OSs, this is the only way to purge the file that remembers what trainers you’ve paired to. Once reinstalled - is the connection to the Hub more reliable?
You’re pairing your trainer signals directly to the tablet - what we call “native” Bluetooth pairing. I see you’re using the Zwift Companion app on a Samsung smartphone? What happens when you bridge your trainer’s signals using the Companion app? Here’s how. Is that more stable?
Did not fix the issue at all. Hub will not stay connected at all. Followed instructions for connecting through companion app but the option to connect through phone doesn’t even show up on the main zwift app. As I watch the BLE signal on the zwift app it moves from strong green to red and back looking like it loses signal. Un-installed zwift and companion apps and reinstalled without effect. Tested again with Kikr Core and both trainer and click connect to app and are stable. Power cycled everything with no effect.
Switched my bike over to Kikr Core thos morning and had no connection issues. Really would like to fix issue on the Hub.
Still awaiting some more help. Additional info. HUB flashes blue. Multiple blue red green and then back to blue. It pairs and then goes through the multicolor sequence again and flashes blue. In the App it shows cpnnected but when i advance into the game and then a ride the HUD says connection failure. I cleaeed everything elwctronic away from the trainer. Thinking my hub has an issue.
Still awaiting further help. Tried relocating Hub to another part of the house to eliminate close by BLE or Bluetooth interference. No change. How do I get help?
Still not connected. Downloaded 1.75 and didn’t make a difference. I physically moved the Hub to another partnof the house to ensure this is not an interference issue. Very frustrating and not feeling supported at all. Cannot get responses from you. Cannot make contact via phone. Help please.
I have the same issue as reported above.
Got a fresh wahoo zwift. Worked fine on my samsung a53 mobile phone but on my samsung tablet the click has major connectivity issues. It shows great signal but doesnt stay connected for long. Takes several tries to get it to “connected” but then randomly losses connection during the run. Very annoying and removes all the fun from riding. Its a samsung tab S9FE
Hope it gets fixed soon.
