The Zwift videos dont ever show the drive side adapter (wahoo calls it the adapter C or drive side spin cap) being used. See the screenshots of the video:
as the frame was already rather tight on the kickr without the spin cap I thought okay I guess it goes on without it…welll…turns out you still need the spin cap. I just popped it back on and now it works flawless even when the lock nut is screwed in 100%.
Stupid mistake but would be nice to show the video with the actual much needed drive side spin cap instead of just the lock nut which was very confusing to me and caused this issue.
