Zwift click no virtual gears

I bought the Zwift click, which arrived today. I use an Elite Suito T trainer which has the latest firmware. I paired the Click with my companion app and performed a firmware update. So far so good. Launched the game and the Click was recognised and paired in the initial menu. I then chose a random route and start pedalling! The action buttons were clearly working as I could give Ride Ons and change direction. When I tried to change up the gears , nothing happened and there was no graphic on the display to indicate what gear I was in. Tried for a few more minutes of trying to change up and down but nothing happened ie no change of resistance. I eventually stopped pedalling and tried a total reboot of Zwift and my laptop. Upon reboot I went to settings in Zwift and then to Hardware but there was no sub menu for selecting virtual shifting (which I had seen on a troubleshooting video). Is there anything else I need to do to get virtual shifting to work?

you are connecting via bluetooth and not ant+/wifi ?

Hi Rich - My trainer connects with Bluetooth and I assume the Click does as well.

Good news.

It’s now working. I was checking that my trainer was connected via Bluetooth which is was and inadvertently disconnected and reconnected it. The virtual shifters started working when I loaded a course up and started pedalling. And I’m happy to report I love the functionality of them and the smooth changes. Very happy and relieved!
