Hi, just installed the new cog and click, paired with Zwift, tested with the tutorial, but It doesn’t look working because I don’t see the Gear field on the zwift display and It doesn’t change any Gear. I am using a Smart trainer elite justo 2, no problems with technical installation with the cog. Do I miss anything? Thanks
Are you paired with Bluetooth? It requires it, seemingly on the first pairing
Did you update the firmware on the trainer via the Upgrado app?
I did It, but still invisible
Yes, It was already updated
Check settings, hardware and see if the virtual shifting shows up. Make sure your phone has the Companion app open
It does, and also the Companion sees it
Have you updated the firmware on the Click shifter in the Zwift Hardware menu in Companion?
This is the standard advice:
If an ANT+ dongle is present, pull it out while you test it.
Yes, I did it
Geez Paul, I forgot that step
No ant+ Dongle, but I joined the smart trainer via ant+. I tru to join It via BT only
Hey @Berto,
Thanks for your post on the Zwift forums! Jose from Zwift support here.
I checked your account and see you’ve been doing the AC Maintenance #1 workout. Virtual shifting works during free-ride parts of a workout, but in ERG mode, Zwift controls the resistance, so manual shifting is disabled. Based on what I found, AC Maintenance #1 is fully ERG-controlled, so you won’t be able to virtually shift during that one.
Could you try a free ride and see if your Click allows you to shift then? If not, please reply here and let me know, or feel free to contact us directly.
Thanks!
Now It works, but It was due to ant+ connection with the smart trainer. Joining the smart trainer via BT only, I see the gears and It works. Maybe It Is only for elite justo 2, but It could make reference for others
Thanks
I had this also. I forgot on new use and put the ANT+ dongle back in everything works fine. Tacx Neo2T.
Virtual shifting requires pairing the trainer via Bluetooth. It can’t work using ANT+ with any trainer.
