Hi, After much frustration with trying to calibrate in Zwift, I finally figured out how to do the calibration of my Elite Suito with the MyEtraining App. I have a result of 12490. What does this mean? Do I have to enter this somewhere in Zwift?

Hi,
I bought an Elite Suito-T the other day and ran into calibration issues. I thought my experiences might be helpful.

The Bad
I used the Zwift calibration to start with (the spanner icon next to the trainer in the pairing screen) . It showed me a 5 step screen and told me to pedal to 37kph and then stop. I did this and was met on screen two with a notice to keep pedalling, which I did at 40kph for 40 minutes  I gave up at that point and tried the Elite app.

Remember that Bluetooth on your phone can only pair with one item at a time, so don’t be connected to Zwift via Bluetooth at the time you try the app. I paired to my trainer but the Elite app calibration told me to keep pedalling. Increase the speed it said. I got to 60kph before it told me I had failed to reach the necessary speed. Anger ensued.

The Good.
I have a Huawei phone and apparently the app doesn’t sit well with it. I was able to calibrate very, very quickly with a borrowed iPhone. Also, I rode around for 15 minutes and have the Zwift calibration app another go. When it asked me to reach 37kph, I blasted it to 60kph and then TADA!! It told me to stop pedalling. Calibration successful.

I hope that helps someone. If In Doubt - Flat Out.

use Elite eTraining app to calibrate their trainers, not Zwift

the number it spits out, compare it to the sticker on the bottom of ur trainer, should be within +/- 5 points or ur trainer is busted.

Hi Zwifters,
I’ve got the same problem. There is mistake in unit type. I think there should be 37 mph, it means 60 kph. I reached this speed, and I received the command stop to spin. After the message calibration finished.

Thanks
Pawel

most people are not capable of hitting those speeds on a bicycle so yea…

I had the same problem when connecting my Wahoo elemnt Bolt.
Seems like Wahoo and Elite are not compatible…
