Zwift App Can't Detect Click

Hello. I just purchased a Zwift cog v2 with click. The firmware to updated to 1.1.0 per the instructions using the Zwift Companion app. The click is detected and shows its status. However no Zwift apps will detect the click.

Zwift detects other equipment such as the Kickr Move and my HRM (Tickr X). The behavior is consistent with AppleTV, iPhone, and iPad. There is a known bluetooth limit with AppleTV, but this has been eliminated since the click still isn’t detected without the HRM. Further, the behavior is consistent on a Mac mini, iPhone and iPad as well.

Things I’ve tried:

  1. Removing and reinstalling Zwift per other support articles
  2. Ensuring bluetooth is enabled and no other devices are holding the connection
  3. Installing Zwift on a Windows laptop though with worse results - not detecting the trainer

The click has 93% battery and is in bluetooth pairing mode (flashing blue light).

If you’re also having this issue or know of a solution, please share.

Check your Kickr Move firmware. Needs to be v1.3.14 or higher for virtual shifting (ie. Click) support.

Fixed! Your suggestion to update the firmware for the move worked. Now running 1.4.5 and Zwift picked it right up.

Thank you!

Glad that helped.

Would be useful for the Zwift device pairing screen to drop a hint for people, like a message that the trainer isn’t virtual shifting compatible when Zwift detects you have Click or Play devices.
