World access issue

I don’t know if this has been reported or is a new issue.
I just tried to enter an off schedule world, London, by the work out method.
When I attempted to “tab” thru the intervals, the program freezes.
I had to end the ride and was taken back to the home screen.

I’m on Windows 10.

I wondered if something had changed when I tried to use an endurance erg workout for first time in ages, to join Petite Douleur.

I thought you used to be able to start workout and then simply quit the workout via the button above menu in the bottom left corner, to then freeride the route that wasn’t on the calendar.

But no quit option yesterday.

A workaround is to make a custom 5sec (or whatever the minimum is now) workout. Then just let it play out and ride normally. I’m barely clipped in by the time my ‘World Warp’ workout has ended

Wouldn’t it be easier to to a meetup or setup a route using My List?
No fussing around with My List.

Maybe faster, yeah. I’ve had my quick workout going since before My List was a thing, so it’s what I think of first, and it’s not really much slower. Still have to pick the world and route from a list.

I hardly think of My List.
My go-to for riding any route on any world is a meetup.
I created a 2nd Zwift account that I’ve never used to ride, and choose that as the other rider for the meetup. I quit the meetup after spawning so I don’t have the yellow beacon over my head.

If it works, it works. Using the workout method is super easy though. Login like usual, decide what to do in the moment (like usual, lol). Want to ride in an off-day world? Select workout, pick World Warp custom workout, select world and route, start ride, workout is over before my legs are even up to speed. Just ride like usual. No restrictions, no other logins to use, etc. Pretty fast.

That sounds super easy.
If I did workouts rather than free rides, I might think of doing it that way more often.

That’s the thing–you start the workout, but it’s only a 5 sec or whatever workout, so the workout finishes right away and then you’re just free-riding.

Here–the minimum is actually a 10 second block of absolutely nothing

Today, I was able to tab thru the work out intervals without issue.
Yesterday when I had difficulty, I didn’t have anything paired because I was on my couch and I was just going follow a friend that was Zwifting.
Maybe having a power source paired made a difference.

But generally, to ride an off schedule world, just select any workout, select the world and /or route and just tab thru the intervals.
I don’t know if there is an “End Workout” button.

I also ride off schedule worlds using Zwift Pref app.

I only care about off schedule worlds when there are routes that I have not completed.
This is the first season in a while that there has been a reason for me to want to ride off schedule.
