I purchased a brand new Kickr Snap a few weeks ago. About 10 miles into my ride today it started making a clicking noise. The flywheel was very hot, which I’m assuming this would be normal given the fact that I was riding for about 10 miles. After letting it cool down completely I rode for less than mile and there was no noise. Has anyone else had this problem? Here is a link of the clicking noise and I will say that it sounds a little worse in the video.
Hi There,
Did you manage to sort out the noise? My Snap has just developed exactly the same sound…arrrgggghhhhh.
Is it overheating? Are you a heavyweight and grinding? Are you running at 100% trainer resistance?
If so, back off the resistance setting and put a fan on the trainer.
I ended up replacing the bearings and it is now quiet. Not a hard job and it is well worth doing. Do a Google search on Wahoo kickr snap noise fix. The Trainerroad link was the one that helped me
