Abnormal noise from my Wahoo Kickr Core

Hi All,
I am just a new user of the bike frame + Wahoo kickr core and just went for the1st ride.
I was quite happy with my purchase so far, as it was delivered fast and in perfect conditions. I was quite happy about the visual quality of the product BUT was not expecting for such a high quality product to have such a noise coming from the Wahoo Kickr. It seems there is something in friction.
Can someone tell me if this noise is normal?

Mine is working fine.
No noise at all.
Maybe a problem of installation on your side.

could you share a video with that noise ??

Hi,

Here is the video.

For some reason I am not able to attach the video. Do you know how should I do it?
Thanks

upload to youtube as an unlisted private video, share the link here. If you aren’t able to share links, just type it out and add some spaces or something.

Hi again,

It’s here.

I think I recognize the sound from when one of my Kickr Core’s went bad. I suggest you contact Wahoo support via their website and start a ticket, share this video with them too.

Thanks Mike.

Do you know the Wahoo support contact? On the site I am directed to the chat.

that is the way, they are very responsive, I’ve had great success dealing with Wahoo over the years.

I’ll keep trying but as of now didn’t succeed to get someone rather that the virtual assistant only.

If I recall, that is how it worked for me too, the chat bot gets your info, and a real person will respond within 24 hours.

Hi,
I bought a Wahoo Kickr Core with COG from the Zwift website a week ago, and mine also makes the same cyclic noise. It seems like it could be a problem with the belt tension. Let me know what Wahoo support says about it!
