Wahoo KICKR 62EC and Zwift Play

Good day,

Wondering if my old “I think first generation” Wahoo KICK 62EC with firmware version 3.5.2 is supported with Zwift Play.

Thanks

I think you are in the queue behind, Wahoo V5,4,3,2 etc

not sure what that number is… but KICKR v6, KICKR MOVE, and KICKR CORE are compatible with Zwift virtual shifting.

If you have an “old” one then it likely is not compatible with virtual shifting, but you can still use the play controllers for other things like steering, power ups, navigating menus, braking, etc…

looks like you have the Kickr 2018 (v4), not supported for virtual shifting

Thanks a lot for the update !!!

It’s the wireless ID for the trainer, a portion of the Bluetooth MAC address. It has nothing to do with the trainer model, but the firmware version makes it clear.

The recommended way to ID a Kickr is here: https://support.wahoofitness.com/hc/en-us/articles/4407140982674-Identify-a-KICKR-trainer

Thanks Paul !!! I just checked and my model is KICKR v4 (2018). Is is not supported according to Mike.

Thanks all for your help

Set up virtual shifting in Zwift on an unsupported Kickr V5 using QZ Fitness and Zwift Cog

Try this - it’s only £5.99, and will make your Kickr work with virtual shifting.
