Van Rysel D100 - No resistance on SIM mode

No change here. I’ve updated the app on my phone and Apple TV. Still only ERG and resistance in SIM free rides. Is there an admin in this forum that is monitoring this discussion? It would be good to have them respond to the issue.

Hi everyone, I’ve got the same issue but… I’m making some steps during free ride and resistance is back again.

  1. go to Paired devices
  2. speed up the trainer
  3. unplug the trainer from DC 230V
  4. wait few seconds
  5. plug the trainer again to DC 230V
  6. resistance is back
  7. start normal free ride

Of course this issue started after upgrade to ver. 0.106 via OneLapFit.
Decathlon support is a disaster - no one answer me after couple mails, tickets via app, I’ve tried also to call to support in France.

Cheers

I will try this out, on Reddit someone suggested something similar, but with trying to disconnect Bluetooth while riding. This completely broke my ride and I had „no signal” appearing till the Zwift restart

Decathlon France is still not responding, I have sent them an email using their form 2 weeks ago. Polish support on the other hand was kind of fast, however they haven’t had any solution and just said that they will forward this to the manufacturers.

The workaround is working!

  1. Connect your trainer to Zwift
  2. Launch ride
  3. Spin the trainer Edit - tested that, you don’t need to spin trainer
  4. unplug it and plug it (for me the easiest is to unplug the small plug that goes into trainer)
  5. Wait a little
  6. Resistance is back

Tested that on Zwift 1.82 on iOS and 1.81.2 on Windows

Superb

Hey Zwift Dev Team? Maybe you can make some review about this issue?

Cheers

I have tried that solution and it sadly does not working in my case. I am just wondering why when I was using d100 first time with ZWIFT it works normally but now is a problem with resistance.

I have to add something that still something is wrong. While I’m riding with more that -2% on free mode, resistance is turning off and I can make only 50W. I think I will return this piece of sh… to decathlon and buy Kickr Core…

yes i know I’m on a zwift forum , just wanted to add that i have exactly the same issue as op with cassette on d100 . this issue is also there with rouvy . definitely something to do with virtual shifting updates . resistance works fine on apps like onelap and kinomap

There has been an update for my D100 yesterday to 1.0.8, maybe something has been fixed
