I attempted a spin down on my Wahoo Kickr snap (wheel on trainer). I tried to reach 23mph for the spindown and the most I could muster was 21mph. Felt like I was pulling a sofa up the Col de Peyresourde! Should I calibrate the Wahoo through the app everytime before a ride then perform the spin down in Zwift as well?
You should only calibrate the trainer in the Wahoo app, and if that doesn’t work, contact Wahoo support.
Suggested frequency
To calibrate your KICKR SNAP for the most accurate readings, a spindown is recommended after a ten minute warmup before EVERY ride, race, or workout. You should perform a spindown using the Wahoo app for iOS or Android. Although some 3rd party apps like Zwift can perform spindown calibrations, we recommend using the Wahoo app for best results.

Update resolved the issue. I was trying to connect to the Wahoo Kickr snap using a Garmin ANT dongle. Once I re-added the Kickr snap via Bluetooth I was able to perform a spin down without it timing out. Hope this helps anyone that is having the same issue.
