Hey everyone, this may not be about zwift but I’m having some problems with a new trainer…
We recently purchased a tacx vortex trainer but everytime I exceed an incline of 2% or more I begin to just slip and no longer be able to hold the smooth cadence I was originally holding.
Any ideas on how to fix this? Thanks in advance everyone

A few things to check.
- check the tension on the wheel, the roller should be tight against the wheel.
- tire pressure, look on the tire and inflate to that value (usually around 100psi)
- use a trainer tire
Do a trainer spindown calibration.
